Two weeks ago, I took my role as the Kids Ministry Coordinator at my church’s Atlanta campus. It’s been great! I’ve bee able to meet new people and really impact lives and culture just within these last two weeks.God has been revealing thing to me about this new experience. He has helped me understand ministry and walking with him better. Here are a couple of things that I have learned:
- Be consistent. This allows God and others to be able to trust your decisions and actions.
2. Understand that your elevation isn’t about you. Your elevation is about those around you and those coming into your life.
3. Relationships open people’s hearts. When people encounter change in leadership (whether at work, church, school, etc), it’s best to form a authentic relationship with those impacted by the change. The sooner you do this, the better the future can be.
These are just a couple of tips that I have learned over the last couple of days. Learn to be faithful with whatever you do and serve the best you can in your current place in life. God’s timing is better than yours. Spread The Soup!
